How We Treat
Our treatments are patient centred, so take into account each patient's unique circumstance, their problems and goals when deciding a suitable treatment approach. This approach enables us to maximize each patient's potential irrespective of age or condition.
Your First Treatment
At your first appointment, we ask that you arrive five minutes early in order to fill out our brief registration form and read our terms and conditions.
We allocate an hour for your first appointment. It is important that we take the time to listen to what you have to say about your problem and to understand how it affects you. We then carefully and thoroughly examine the problem area to enable us to reach an accurate diagnosis. We will discuss our findings with you and recommend a treatment plan to achieve your goals in the least possible time. You will also receive some treatment to ensure you start feeling better from day one.
Please bring with you any referral letters, medical records, x-rays or scans that you may have and a list of your current medication. As you will need to expose the problem area, we recommend you bring a pair of shorts for a back or lower limb problem. For ladies, a camisole or vest top for a neck or shoulder problem. If your injury is related to sport or running, please bring along your trainers/sports shoes. Friends and relatives are welcome to accompany you for your assessment.
We offer home visits by prior arrangement. Currently this service is only available to residents living within a five mile radius of Sutton. (SM2)
